This year DCGS has donated funds to the library to put more of our local newspapers online at NewspaperArchives.com. This fantastic research tool may be used with your library card at home or at the library. Currently, the free feature is for Ohio newspapers only. The Veterans' database on the library website has added our research on the World War II soldiers who appear on the War Monument. We also use our funds to acquire speakers for our meetings, door prizes applicable to the speaker's topic, if possible, and to work with the library and Defiance College on various projects or events.
