Pleasant Point School - Washington Township 1897 - 1908

The Pleasant Point School was the District #9 school in Washington Township, located at the northeast corner of Blosser Road and U.S. Route 127.

Gehrett School, Washington Township

Located in Section 29 on land donated by Carlton Ewers, the Gehrett School (also known as the Pleasant Point, or the Point School), was District #9 in Washington Township.  This photo from 1904 - 1905 sadly had no identification of individuals, but it did give a bit of a view of the school's interior.  (Enlarge by clicking on photo for a much better view.)
